Acanthosis in the Nigeria disease
Acanthosis of the skin is characterized by a thicker and more black part of the skin surrounding it. So some sufferers try to rub their skin. However, the action did not cause the acanthosis of the Negricans to disappear.
It was first recognized in the year 1889 in Germany by Unna and Pollitzer. Various studies were conducted and found that this skin disorder is associated with insulin resistance underlying the occurrence of diabetes mellitus.

Diagnosis of Acanthosis of the Nigerians
Acanthosis of the Nigerians is generally related to insulin disorder. Therefore, people who are experiencing acanthosis of the hormone should undergo an examination to determine the level of insulin and blood sugar. The test is fasting blood sugar, blood sugar after meals, the level of hemoglobin (HbA1c), and C-peptide in the blood.
If the acanthosis of the esophageal occurs in people aged 50 years and over, the possibility of digestive tract cancer should be considered. Therefore, generally, doctors will recommend blood screening, endoscopy, CT-Scan, or MRI to ensure there is no cancer.
Symptoms of Acanthosis in the Nigerians

Because acanthosis of the Nigerians is generally related to insulin disorder and diabetes, then applying a healthy lifestyle is important to do. For example by conducting regular physical activity (at least four times a week with a long exercise of at least 30 minutes) and regulating diet – such as consumption of foods that are high in fiber and low in fat.
If the person of acanthosis of the drug is also diabetic, then the consumption of diabetes medication as recommended and monitoring of the doctor also needs to be done. If acanthosis of the drug is due to the side effects of drugs such as steroids, nicotinic acid, hormonal contraceptives, then the use of such drugs should be discontinued.
In the meantime, the treatment for the in-home acanthosis is only for cosmetic purposes. To diminish the skin abnormalities that occur, some medications that are applied to the skin, such as retinoic acid, hydroquinone, fluocinolone, and salicylic acid, may be administered. However, the use of this drug can only be done by prescription and doctor's advice.
If the acanthosis of the esophageal is related to cancer, it is not uncommon to do surgery.

- Keep your weight in the ideal range
- Eating high-fiber and low-fat foods
- Regular exercise
- Avoiding exposure to cigarette smoke and stress
